OnePlus 10R “Alien Object Detected” warning while charging – fix?
My OnePlus 10R keeps showing this warning when I try to charge: “Alien object or liquid detected. Unplug the charger. Make sure the charger and USB port are dry and clean, and restart the phone.”
I’ve already tried restarting the phone, but the issue is still there. Charging is inconsistent or doesn’t work properly.
Has anyone faced this before? Could it be due to the charging cable, adapter, or port issue? Does this need repair, and what could the cost be?

The issue you are facing is very common and often occurs after water damage or a short circuit in the charging port.
You can try cleaning your charging port and then restarting the device. If the warning is still there, you can also try changing the charging cable.
