Hi,
I want to repair my iPad screen, but I’m not sure which model I have. I checked the back side and saw some small text, but I don’t understand what it means.
How can I find the exact iPad model number before booking a repair?

To correctly identify your iPad model before repair, you must check the Model Number that starts with “A”.
Simply knowing “iPad Pro” or “iPad Air” is not enough.
Turn your iPad over and look at the bottom area of the back panel.
You will see small text like:

Model A1474
That “A” number is your exact iPad model number.
This is the most accurate way to identify your device.
Many users say:
But inside “iPad Pro” itself there are multiple models like:
Even if two iPads look identical, the internal parts can be completely different.
That’s why the A-model number is mandatory before screen replacement or any hardware repair.
